Based in the UK, I’ve been working as a market analyst, writer and consultant in the office equipment, large format and production printing environment for most of my career, having joined the industry as long ago as 1984.  Coincidentally this turned out to be an auspicious moment in the history of the office print industry with the launch that Spring of the first desktop laser printer.

At Infosource I have regional responsibility for our market research in the scanner, MFP and production print industries in a number of countries in the EMEA region.  Previously I worked with market intelligence organisation, epMI, where I was involved with all aspects of its consultancy work as well as its monthly PrintView publication.

Now as part of the DIR team, the plan is to expand coverage from Infosource’s analysts, providing local perspectives of the document automation market in the multiple countries we cover and visit.  On a personal level, it is exciting to once again be involved in a news publication and I look forward to being in contact.

Bryant Duhon, Editor-in-Chief, Document Imaging Report

Editor, writer, and content marketer, I began my career in the industry as an editorial assistant with AIIM’s magazine, inform. My primary job each week: sorting bins of mailed press releases. After nearly 20 years at AIIM, I spent four years with an inbound marketing agency providing services for copier dealers. I had a toe in the capture industry even then and have now boomeranged back to covering some of the same companies whose press releases I sorted through decades ago.

My goal is to provide our readers wtih information that they will find useful, informative, and, sometimes, entertaining. On a personal note, I am the father of two daughters, am a huge New Orleans Saints fan, enjoy reading history and fantasy novels in my spare time, and am looking forward to returning to the gym when possible.

I respond more quickly to email or text. I look forward to serving you.
